Patient Advocate for Research and Clinical Guidelines Training and Develeopment
The National Cancer Grid, in collaboration with PatientEngage, has developed a training program for patient advocates to enhance their understanding of clinical guidelines and research. This initiative aims to empower individuals with lived experiences, caregivers, and those involved in patient advocacy to contribute meaningfully to clinical research and guideline development.
The course covers key concepts in oncology basics, clinical research, ethics, clinical guidelines, and health technology assessment. The videos shared here were recorded as part of this virtual learning program.
